Uniform recently completed a short film for Foster + Partners, for their Hermitage Plaza scheme in La Defence, Paris. The film premiered to an audience including Vladimir Putin amongst others at the Russian National Exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris.

The city district Amsterdam Osdorp recently merged with Slotervaart and Geuzenveld-Slotermeer and was given the name Amsterdam Nieuw-West. This change also meant the end of 20 years of restructuring urbanized areas. To celebrate everything achieved, a book was published. ‘The Metamorphosis of Osdorp’ gives an overview of the architectural highlights. PlusOne was asked to create an intriguing video.

Le Quartier Osdorp d'Amsterdam à récemment fusionné avec ceux de Slotervaart et Geuzenveld-Slotermeer et renomé Amsterdam Nieuw-West.

Ce changement signifie également la fin de 20 ans de restructuration urbanistique. Pour célébrer l'achèvement des travaux, un livre a été publié. 'The Metamorphosis of Osdorp’ donne une vue global des éléments architecturaux fort.

Opened in 2006, the Inhotim Institute in Brumadinho, Minas Gerais, Brazil is a centre for contemporary arts. Houses artwork from brazilian and international artists in several pavilions, galleries and throughout its gardens, which were conceived by Roberto Burle Marx.

Recorded with the Canon 5D Mark II and TS-E 24mm lens. Edited in Final Cut Pro. No color grading. Soundtrack by 'The Cinematic Orchestra'.

This is part of a continuous experiment, a solitary study, on transposing the language of architectural photography into video. The reference to photography is clear, with many takes with a fixed camera, and few movements (also due to my lack on experience on that matter). As the objective is the understanding of the architectural project, the takes are several seconds long –always more than five. The human figure is essential, as it demonstrates scale, axis, paths and possible interactions between man and building. The recorded sound, of low quality and subject to wind noise, was replaced by a soundtrack, which then based the editing process.

Ouvert en 2006, l'institut d'Inhotim à Brumadinho, Minas Gerais, Brésil est un centre pour les arts contemporains. Maison des artistes brésiliens et internationaux avec plusieurs pavillons, galeries et jardins, qui ont été conçus par Roberto Burle Marx.

Enregistré avec le Canon Mark II et un objectif TS-E 24mm, édité dans Final Cut Pro. Pas de modification des couleurs. Bande son par 'The Cinematic Orchestra'.

Une expérience continue, une étude solitaire, sur transposer le language de la photographie architecturale dans la vidéo. La référence à la photographie est claire, avec beaucoup de prises avec un appareil photo fixe, et peu de mouvements (aussi dus à mon manque d'expérience sur cette matière). Car l'objectif est l'arrangement du projet architectural, les prises font plusieurs secondes de long, toujours plus de cinq. La figure humaine est essentielle, car elle démontre la balance, l'axe, les chemins et les interactions possibles entre l'homme et le bâtiment. Le son enregistré, de mauvaise qualité et sujet au bruit de vent, a été remplacé par une bande sonore, qui a alors basé le procédé d'édition.

better known as DELTA, was one of the top european graffiti artist in the early 90's, i always love is work and style, and today when i cleaned up some old Safari links, i refound a link to is old website...

And i remember this so cool video, showing his graffiti style, in a artistic 3D way, a sort of augmented reality before the time..

Today, Boris Tellegen wakes up at 6 a.m. to the sound of his infant wanting to be fed. After daddy duty, Telegen becomes DELTA, a name he scribbled furiously on Amsterdam property, in his youth. “The fact that I’m not 20 or 25, personally, I don’t feel the urge to prove myself anymore as a writer,” he says, adding that letters continue to be the base of his creations, and is in his Amsterdam studio crafting monolithic art for his personal satisfaction and his client’s needs. Telegen’s passion rests in yesterday’s future, “I choose my name in the ‘80’s. I choose the name DELTA, because I thought it sounded cool and, at the time, Transformers were on television and rappers were called Captain Rock, Flash and the Ultramagnetic MCs,” he says, adding that his vinyl toy, Rader (the Rader toy is limited with 600 produced), is a tribute to yester-decade’s future.

CGArchitect.com have just put online their last survey about the visualization industry.

Earlier this year they conducted there third worldwide industry survey to help determine the current state of the field and how the current economy has impacted businesses. There last survey was conducted in 2006. The survey this year was taken by almost 3,000 respondents and provided some very insightful information about where things are headed.
